Which AI systems we use on this site, what they do, and how to reach a human at any time.

1. You are talking to an AI assistant

The chat widget on this site ("Aixa Assistant") is powered by a language model (LLM), not a human. We show this clearly when you open the chat, before you send your first message, in line with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence (the "AI Act").

No other part of aixa-ai.com uses generative AI facing the user. The rest of the site is static content.

2. Which model we use and how it works

The assistant uses a third-party language model (currently DeepSeek) via API, combined with our own knowledge base about AIXA AI's services, which we keep manually up to date. The model is not trained or fine-tuned on your conversations or on client data: it receives your message, the current conversation history, and our instructions on every call, and generates a text response.

The assistant is configured to answer only about AIXA AI, its technical capabilities, the Olearia ecosystem, and commercial contact topics. It does not generate code, does not give personalised medical, legal or financial advice, and should not be used as the sole basis for critical decisions.

3. What data it processes

  • The text you type in the chat, including any personal data you choose to share (name, email, phone, company).
  • The history of the active conversation (not kept across separate sessions unless you explicitly consent to us storing your data as a commercial lead).
  • Basic technical metadata (detected language, timestamp, anonymous session identifier) for support and abuse-prevention purposes.

If during the conversation you share your name and email with commercial intent, we will ask for your explicit consent before storing that data as a contact in our CRM. You can decline and keep using the chat normally. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Limits of the assistant

The assistant can make mistakes or give incomplete answers. Figures and data about AIXA and Olearia are verified against our internal knowledge base, but for anything material to a business decision, please confirm directly with our team before acting on it.

The assistant never gives concrete prices or closes commercial agreements: any proposal or quote is confirmed by a person on our team.

This notice is published in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), which requires informing users when they interact with an AI system, unless this is obvious from the context. Personal data collected by the assistant is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
